Who are we?
The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) harmonizes data protection legislation across the European Union, increasing protection for individuals and giving them greater control over their personal data.
At Sociedad Española de Electromedicina y Calidad, S.A., we have always been concerned about the protection of personal data. Therefore, we have updated our Privacy Policy to comply with the new regulations and inform you of the changes that affect your rights:
Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?
For what purpose do we process your personal data?
- Maintenance of the commercial and contractual relationship of our customers and suppliers with the companies of the RADIOLOGÍA Group.
- Sending information about new products and services of RADIOLOGÍA Group companies.
- Sending of commercial communications, bulletins and newsletters, with information about the RADIOLOGÍA Group companies: (Sociedad Española De Electromedicina y Calidad S.A.; Radiología S.A and Sedecal Molecular Imaging S.L.).
- Conducting customer satisfaction surveys.
- To carry out personnel selection processes for a job position.
- Access control to the facilities.
How long do we keep your data?
Why do we use your personal data?
Your personal data are processed by RADIOLOGY on the following legal bases:
- Your consent or have been provided voluntarily by you through any means. In this sense, the inclusion of personal data in the files is absolutely voluntary and its collection is duly announced.
- The maintenance, development and execution of a contractual relationship that we maintain with you, in the case of: (i) provision of services; (ii) labor, commercial, administrative relationship, among others.
- For legitimate interests, always respecting your right to the protection of personal data, honor, and privacy, for the development and dissemination of our products and services, to analyze the quality of the service offered and the level of user satisfaction, as well as to carry out studies and statistical analysis.
To whom will we disclose your information?
Your data will be kept under strict security measures to ensure its confidentiality and security. Likewise, they will only be communicated to the following entities and for the following purposes:
- RADIOLOGÍA GROUP companies in Spain (SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE ELECTROMEDICINA Y CALIDAD, S.A, RADIOLOGIA S.A. and RADIOLOGÍA MOLECULAR IMAGING, S.L) for the fulfillment of the purposes indicated above.
- Entities and suppliers that provide services to RADIOLOGÍA for the proper execution of our activities. These entities and suppliers are duly accredited and sign with us the corresponding data processing contract in accordance with current data protection regulations.
- Public bodies and authorities and Courts and Tribunals when there is a legal obligation to provide the data.
What channels do we use to obtain your data?
RADIOLOGY obtains personal data through the following channels:
- Forms/questionnaires (in web, electronic or paper format)
- Exchange of business cards.
- Service contracts.
- Fairs and events related to your business sector
What categories of data do we process?
Depending on your relationship with us, we may process the following data:
- Identification data, including image
- Employment data.
- Academic and professional data
- E-mail addresses
- Commercial information
- Economic and financial data.
- Specially protected data (in connection with the provision of electromedical equipment maintenance services).
What security measures do we apply to personal data?
We implement the necessary security measures to prevent theft, alteration or unauthorized access to data, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing, as well as the varying risks of likelihood and severity to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
In case of outsourcing of services, we require and ensure that the processor implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks involved, as required by Article 32 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
We also conduct impact assessments on those processing operations that we believe may pose a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, in order to implement the necessary and appropriate measures to prevent a breach of confidentiality.
What are your rights?
Everyone has the right to know if RADIOLOGY carries out a processing of their personal data. They also have the right to:
- Access to your personal data,
- Request the rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected,
- Oppose the processing of your data, for reasons related to your particular situation, by requesting that your data not be processed by RADIOLOGÍA.
- In certain circumstances, request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.
- To withdraw the consent given, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
When you exercise your rights of deletion, opposition, limitation or withdraw your consent, RADIOLOGY will stop processing your data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.

Remember that, whenever you exercise any of the rights we have explained, you must accompany your request with a copy of your ID card or equivalent document that allows us to verify your identity.
Also, if you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your rights, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, through the website www.aepd.es.
What can you do if you do not wish to receive commercial communications?
In accordance with the LSSI, you can unsubscribe from any of the subscription services, as well as express your opposition to receiving advertising information, by sending the word BAJA to the following addresses: RADIOLOGÍA, company with registered office at C/ Pelaya 9 -13, P.I.
